The Amusing Muse was started in 2020 and inspired by a woman from 1637. It’s a space where I provide insight and advice about craft, much of it based on my experience reading the slush pile for a literary journal, with the hopes of providing writers a more transparent understanding of getting work published. I also share in some of the weird-yet-true history I have gleaned about the Spanish Golden Age.
